About Me

First of all, thank you for visiting English Football 4 U and spending your time looking at my blog. My name is Steve Sharman and I am a freelance journalist from Peterborough currently studying Journalism and Media at Staffordshire University. I am a keen football follower having spent the majority of my life following the beautiful game. As well as writing football I enjoy playing the game both outside on the pitch and inside on my Playstation 3. It has to be said I have a slight obsession with the game, but who doesn't?!?!

In my short career as a freelance Journalist I have enjoyed work experience in the press office at Peterborough United where I had a number of articles published in two issues of the clubs programmes. One of these articles was written about my experience at the club and what I had gained from it (picture right). I have also earned experience at MATCH magazine, where I also had a number of features published in their issues. Finally I have had a few articles published on the football blog backpagefootball.co.uk which you can view via the links below.

I am a big Liverpool and Peterborough United fan too going through many a memorable occasion with these clubs over the past few years or so.

Onto the blog, it is relatively new having been started in early 2012. The idea came about because I wanted to write about football and share my views on a variety of issues in the game. English football may be a topic that gets covered a lot but it is a topic I know a lot about and is something I enjoy covering. I hope to continue blogging about it in the near future and if anyone has any ideas they think I could include in my blog then don't hesitate to contact me.

Thanks and enjoy reading!!!
